2008 Acura RL Technical Service Bulletins

72 technical service bulletins (TSBs) are on record for the 2008 Acura RL. TSBs are notes manufacturers send to dealers about repair procedures for issues seen in the field. They are not recalls and do not by themselves mean a vehicle has a fault.

• 10088457Jan 30, 2016Air bags. Service bulletin - in certain vehicles, the driver’s (front) airbag inflator could produce excessive internal pressure during airbag deployment. If an affected airbag deploys, the increased internal pressure may cause the inflator casing to rupture. Metal fragments could pass through the airbag cushion material, possibly causing injury or fatality to vehicle occupants.
