“Incidents started occurring immediately after purchase of car. Trunk lid springs do not have sufficient tension, such that when we open the trunk on even a slight hill the trunk lid may stay up for a few seconds, but slams shut either immediately, after something of weight is put in the trunk, or if a breeze comes up. This has occurred several times to my wife and me, resulting in the trunk lid hitting our head or spine with sufficient force to cause significant pain and a wound. If this happened to a young child, it could result in serious injury. …”
