“Let me start by stating that this incident is just one of many occurrences that has happened to me with this vehicle. I was driving down a straight highway that was pretty heavily congested with traffic of other vehicles, when all of a sudden I felt a loss of power with the vehicle and some error codes came up on the dashboard indicating the engine needed to be serviced, start & stop was unavailable, and to service electronic throttle control. I also noticed that the vehicle driving mode had switched by itself from Dynamic to Natural mode. …”
NHTSA complaint #11667062, filed 2025-06“Just bought a 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia from Carvana and two days later while driving the check engine light came on along with the electronic throttle light and the auto start/stop light. While driving the vehicle went into complete limp mode in a busy intersection and I had to pull off quickly to avoid being hit by other traffic. Engine codes came up fuel pressure related.”
