“The contact owns a 2006 Aprilia SCARABEO 500. The highbeams were activated; however, they were dimmer than the regular headlights. The dealer stated that the wires were messed up when the ABS feature was added. There was no remedy for the failure. The failure mileage was 100 and current mileage was 2,850. Updated 01/11/08.”

Two days after purchasing the vehicle, he returned to the dealer to find out why the high beams were so dim and dense. After examining the high beams, the dealer stated that there was no way to adjust them and make them brighter. The current mileage is 7,012 and failure mileage was less than 100. Updated 01/11/08. The contact stated that the engine stalled at low speeds, while idling, in stop-and-go traffic, and when making a left turn. He also stated that the high beams were dimmer than the low beams. The purchase date and number of cylinders were unknown. The current mileage was approximately 2,500 and failure mileage was approximately 1,500. Updated 02-14-08 the consumer stated the dealer replaced fuel line and clamps which corrected engine stalling problem. Updated 02/14/08”
