“I was driving on a Chicago expressway with my family when the tire pressure light came on, within 3 mins and before we could safely pull over the tire shredded and eventually the entire middle part of the tire came off and we were thankful there was a lot of traffic so we had to slow our speed because the inner part of the tire came off and it rolled to the side of the expressway. This could have been catastrophic if another car on the expressway tried to avoid or hit the rubber part of the tire while they were driving. We had to backup an on ramp because there was no safer alternative. …”
