“The vehicle was running for 45 minutes on two-lane paved country roads. I drove the first 15 minutes, with one of my sons driving the other 30 minutes while I was a front seat passenger. We pulled into a parking lot and switched drivers so another son could begin a driving lesson with me. When he began to back out of the parking space he said that the brakes did not feel right and noticed what I thought was steam coming from under the hood. …”

Just within the last 2 months we have had to replace the following: tie-rod, radiator, water pump, thermostat, head gasket, and the intake manifold gasket again. The vehicle only has 86,000 miles on it to date. …”
NHTSA complaint #10375759, filed 2011-01, 85,000 miles“Wheel bearings need replacement. Fuel pump was bad. Replaced tires and brakes 3 times since I hav e owned the vehicle 2 years. Intake manifold was leaking, causing the car to be sluggish and not start sometimes. Abs lights came on frequently. The car was a big nightmare. Wish I never would of bought a Buick Rendezvous.”
NHTSA complaint #10193450, filed 2007-06, 60,000 miles“I bought a Buick Rendezvous in july of this year. The car had 90 k miles on it. Immediately after I bought it,the brakes would push back whenever I tried to stop. I took it back to the dealership I bought it from and they said they couldn't diagnose it since it didn't occur when they had the car. I have been so close to getting in accidents, simply because my car wont stop. I think something really needs to be done about this.”
NHTSA complaint #10249566, filed 2008-11, 91,000 miles“Had battery replaced during routine maintenance. After two days the car would not start battery was dead. After the 3rd battery we took the cat to the dealer. Thet checked everything said it was the battery again!!! So we had it replaced at that time. We also had them fix the ABS for the 3rd time in 5 years. The car was at home two days later would not start! Had it checked this time it was a module and then the dash cluster wnet out while they were fixing the car. Still same problems took the car out again this time after GM called us. …”
