Engine: “On more than three occasions, this vehicle has lost substantial or all propulsion due to engineering design defects with the gas/hybrid electric transmission system. All but one of these situations occurred on a high speed freeway causing potentially life threatening conditions when the vehicle substantially slowed or stopped. This is a known issue as is evidenced by other owners of this vehicle reporting the same issue and the manufacturer failing to have a viable permanent remedy. …”

NHTSA complaint #11316043, filed 2020-03, 9,759 miles

Body and structure: “The contact owns a 2017 Cadillac ct6. Due to the changes in the weather, the rear window had a marbleized haze cover, which made visibility out of the window extremely difficult. The vehicle was taken to schooley Cadillac (2101 45th st, west palm beach, fl), but the cause of the failure could not be determined. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no solution was offered. The failure mileage was 0. Vehicle purchase date should be on or before incident date.”
