“The contact owns a 1995 Cadillac Deville.the contact stated that the frame was rusted and while driving 20 MPH , it broke in half. The contact spoke with the manufacturer and they offered no assistance. The contact took the vehicle to an independent mechanic who advised him that this was a frequent problem with this vehicle. The failure and current miles were 105000.”
NHTSA complaint #10340729, filed 2010-06, 105,000 miles“It was raining hard and water got in the vehicle. Left the parking lot could hear the water in the rear of the car. All of sudden the horn was blowing, then it stopped. When the consumer reached home and turned the key off, both airbags deployed. Passenger side shattered the windshield. There was a recall for the airbag NHTSA recall 98v115000 and manufacturer's recall 98032.”
