Example complaints

Electrical system: “I was cruising down the street around 30 to 35 mph, when my gauge cluster started acting up and suddenly the motorcycle slipped out from underneath me and it caused me to crash.”

NHTSA complaint #11626050, filed 2024-11

Vehicle speed control: “I was driving down the interstate with my cruise control on, and all of a sudden the motorcycle lost power and began to slow down and I couldn’t accelerate and had to make an emergency stop on the right hand side of the highway”

NHTSA complaint #11539590, filed 2023-08

Fuel system: “The first issue is that of the fuel gauge displaying wrong and/or acting up. Sometimes it'll go directly from full to 1/4 tank, then randomly go back up to full or anywhere between. It's pretty spontaneous. The second issue is that of the cruise control. While travelling at interstate speeds and after passing another vehicle, I turned cruise control on only for the bike to die right after. I had to quickly make an emergency maneuver out the flow of traffic as I had no throttle or cruise and was slowing down very quickly. …”

NHTSA complaint #11538969, filed 2023-08

Other or unknown: “The gear sensor feature will randomly flip in and out of 6th & 1st gear while cruise control is active. Therefore cutting power to the bike and deactivating cruise control. It's a common issue that CF Moto won't fix unless you can send them proof of the part being broken.”
