Example complaints

“Prior to the transmission being destroyed from normal driving, the oil pan had to be replaced by the dealer ( wrong pan at the manufacturer). The computer had to be constantly adjusted for the carborator and gear ratio, this took about two months. The seat adjustment broke off and has not yet been replaced. With all of this it has cost me $600. Dollars in car rentals and $3,000. Dollars in lost work time.”

NHTSA complaint #716913, filed 2000-01

“Driver's side seat backrest broke while driving vehicle. This has happened 2 other times while moving seat to allow passengers to enter/exit. Took vehicle to dealership & mechanic repaired the seat backrest each time. The seat back rest would break each time it has been repaired.”

NHTSA complaint #854795, filed 2000-01
