“Tailgate cable broke on passenger side of my 2001 chevy silverado. That caused the tailgate to drag on the road for about 30 feet. I replaced the cable but can't find the receipt now that I seen that NHTSA is looking into this. I'm writing today to document the damage, gouged paint and metal on right side of tailgate plus the cable I bought.”
