The contact was able to steer the vehicle to the shoulder of the road and crashed into the railing. A police report was filed. The contact noticed a cable from the spare tire hoist had fractured and caused the failure. The boat and vehicle were damaged, as well as the spare tire, rim and rear axle of the trailer. The trailer springs welding was also damaged. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the dealer for diagnostics. …”
