“Air conditioner blower fan started working off and on and finally stopped working completely. Consequence was having to drive without any AC in 100 degree heat. Took it in for repair on 8/9/10 and was told that they could not locate a TSB 05-01-38-012c and that I would have to pay $100 deductible to have the repair covered by my extended warranty.”

Took truck to dealership and they charged $656.27 to fix a short in the blower resistor resulting in connector melting and blower failure. Newer truck and asked dealership if under warranty or if recall, informed me there was not. Got on internet at home and found several recalls on 2007 chevy silverado's and informed dealership through emails, about recalls and that is when I learnt our truck was manufactured in canada. …”
NHTSA complaint #10406458, filed 2011-06“Yesterday on 4/10/2014 at 2:00pm I get into my 2007 chevy silverado 1500 classic crew cab and start my truck. I notice that once I let go of the get it never returned to the on position from run/start position. The truck is running and unable to turn off. I had to go under the hood fuse box to pull the PCM fuse to shut the truck off. This how ever still left the truck on. It is now sitting in the shop in phoenix, az aaa owned and operated shop on 75th ave and thunderbird. I will be requesting the parts after seeing and hearing the ignition switch recall of other GM vehicles.”
