NHTSA complaint #10723109, filed 2015-06, 55,000 miles

“If I am going down the road and press my brake pedal and then let up a little bit so that I don't have as much pressure on the brakes the brake lights go out. They go out before I am off of my brakes. So if I am coasting down a hill and apply my brakes and then realize that I have applied too much pressure and I have to let out a little bit to calibrate the pressure correctly my brake lights do not stay on, they go out before the pedal is completely released. …”

NHTSA complaint #10273465, filed 2009-06, 13,000 miles

“Within two months of purchasing my brand new Silverado, I noticed this issue and it has persisted. My vehicle now has 73,000 miles on it, and it happens even more frequently. I've brough this problem up to chevy on multiple occasions, and they have always told me to bring the vehicle when it's doing this, but within 30 minutes of operating the vehicle, the warning lights go off. Many times when I start my vehicle, the stabilitrack , and anti-lock brake system warning lights come on. There's normally a click/thud when I start the vehicle, immediately followed by the warning lights coming on. …”

NHTSA complaint #10626127, filed 2014-08, 1,200 miles

“Cruise control worked intermittently. Had to replace the brake switch on the brake pedal. This switch does not activate on light brake pedal pressure. It is designed to work on firm brake pedal pressure, which can be hazardous when using electric trailer brakes.”

NHTSA complaint #10406210, filed 2011-06, 140,000 miles
