“I dropped off my car to have new tires put on it. The shop called me back and said it may leak air if they put the original aluminum stem back in they don't carry Chrysler parts so they suggested using a rubber stem. They said I can purchase one from auto store and have the dealer or another shop install it. When I picked up my car the TPMS (tire pressure monitoring sensor) was not reading one of the tires. They said if it doesn't work by the morning to bring it back in. …”
NHTSA complaint #10616437, filed 2014-07, 33,400 miles“Check tpm system shows on my dash display every 10 minutes after I start my vehicle. This started occurring after I had my tires rotated. I took it back to the dealership and the tried to do a battery disconnect after multiple calls . They could read all of the pressures by using the little wand on each tire. After multiple attempts of trying to make them fix what they broke, they said that they do not know what the problem is and the wheel rotation must have triggered something. …”
