The contact stated that the air bag warning light was illuminated. The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Number: 17V435000 (Electrical System) and 16V352000 (Air Bags). The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed, and determined that the alternator needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred with the steering. The manufacturer was contacted, but no assistance was provided. …”

The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. The VIN was not available. Parts distribution disconnect. Updated 09/29/16”
