“I owned a new 2007 Chrysler aspen that the passenger seat -heating element malfunctioned while the vehicle was turned off. Vehicle caught on fire and was totaled. Reported to Chrysler dealership and they stated, it was not a recall issue. I strongly disagree. Fire department (chief arson investigator) clearly states in his report that it was a factory issue and very clearly fire started (while vehicle had been parked for 6-7 hours) in the passenger seat and ignited catching the vehicle on fire.”
