“Water/rain leak excessively through the seals of my convertible. Dealership is aware of the problem and after taking the vehicle there four times for this problem, they told me that it is a convertible and it is suppose to leak. I know other people who have the same vehicle and do not have the same problem as I.”

Engine seized briefly upon switching from 1st to 2nd gear, then began clicking upon acceleration or deceleration to/from high rpms (upshifting and downshifting). Chrysler dealership claims the problem is broken connector rod and bearing in #2 cylinder, which necessitates a new engine. Estimated price tag: $10,000 (more than vehicle's worth). …”

The contact cannot lean into the trunk because it will fall down on her. The vehicle has not been taken to the dealer, but believes the repairs should be the manufacturer's responsibility. The failure mileage was 36,000 and current mileage was 39,000. Updated 1/8/09 updated 01/14/09.”
