Example complaints

Body and structure: “I have a 2002 Coleman Caravan and the refrigerator in the camper started defrosting and had a strong ammonia smell inside and outside the camper. There is yellow stuff coming out in a panel in the rear of the camper and strong odor inside the camper as well. I found out about a recall on these yesterday and called and the company said the only thing they will do is pay a dealer to put a shield over the part that is cracked that the stuff leaked out from and nothing more. They said that it was a fire hazard and the shield would contain a fire to just that part and not the rest of the camper. …”

Brakes: “Dealer replaced the front pads and rotors at 6,000 miles, at 14,000, miles consumer had brake problems. Vehicle was taken to the dealer, and technician indicated that nothing was wrong with brakes. Five months later, dealership indicated there was a problem with rotors and pads. Warranty expired, and repairs will be done at consumer's expense.”
