“The consumer received, NHTSA recall campaign letter #04v357000 regarding the camshaft position sensor. However, the vehicle caught on fire on june 2003, there was no dealership available in the area. The vehicle door locks worked erratically. The door locks would not disengage when the consumer vehicle caught on fire, trapping him and his kids inside the vehicle.”
