Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“Vehicle shut down while exiting the highway. While leaving the expressway at 5 MPH the motorhome's neutral switch failed and caused the vehicle's brakes to activate suddenly. The sudden braking was followed by the engine shutting down. The consumer contacted the manufacturer and they indicated that they were aware of the problem with the neutral switch . The consumer is concerned because the motorhome is not equipped with and emergency brake and if the part failed again while driving at a faster speed the outcome may be different.”
