The manufacturer advised that his model vehicle was designed in that manner and would not provide any assistance. The contact was concerned with the possibility of hazardous mold and mildew growing in the vehicle. The vehicle was left in the dealer's possession. The failure and current mileages were approximately 3,000.”

NHTSA complaint #10331542, filed 2010-05, 3,000 miles

“The contact owns a 2010 Dodge Avenger. The contact stated that the metal pillar between the rear glass and smallest rear passenger window was very wide which blocked the view. The contact was unable to see when it was necessary to merge or change lanes. The dealer stated that they could not assist. The failure mileage was 500 and the current mileage was 13,000. Updated 02/23/11 the consumer stated there was no failure, just a potential for a failure of the metal pillar blocking too much of the rear view. Updated 02/28/11”
