“The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Charger Awd. While driving approximately 30 MPH, the ABS and check engine warning indicators illuminated and the vehicle made a ticking noise before stalling. While at a red light, the contact restarted the vehicle and it moved very slowly. During each attempt to accelerate, the ticking noise grew louder and the vehicle shook violently. The contact noticed smoke emerging from the engine compartment. The vehicle was towed to the contact's residence. The contact also stated that the ticking sound occurred one other time, but it went away. …”

“My daughter had warped rotors replaced by local mechanic and informed she needed rack and pinion replaced. Also control arm and tie rod end. An extra $1100 on top of rotor costs. Is this car safe for her and her two year old son to be on the highways with ? Dodge should be ashamed. Submitted by concerned father/grandpa. Hope this saves a life.”
