“Have had ongoing issues with 2009 Dodge journey. Vehicle loses power while driving, this has happened approximately 10 times in the last year. The tires sold on the vehicle (225-55-r19) are not replaceable. I got a flat and was told to ride on the donut until they could locate a new tire, 12 days later still no tire, I demanded the dealer sell me a tire off of a car in the lot, they finally agreed. …”
NHTSA complaint #10408991, filed 2011-06, 16,000 miles“I just purchased a 2009 Dodge journey at royston Dodge in morristown tn. My family and I were driving down the highway and the tire pressure sensor went off. I noticed that my right front tire was low and when I started to inflate it the valve stem popped off in my hand. This would have been a definite fatality.”
NHTSA complaint #10347464, filed 2010-08, 32,000 miles“Tire is worn , went for oil change , tire at almost dangerous level , this is second tire to wear through in a year . I was told these tires have terrible wear life. I can only get them at dealership and they are extremely expensive . If you are putting such a high price tag on these tires then improve them. I am on disability and this is a big hit. I love my journey but am thinking about getting something else. I just paid 52.00 for an air filter and cabin filter.”
NHTSA complaint #10526243, filed 2013-07, 54,702 miles“Brake, rotors, tires and power transfer unit replace only at one year of ownership. This is the second year and I have to do it all over again. Repair cost off the roof and continue to build up. I don't fell safe driving it because of the fast rate this vital parts consume. Dealer continues to tell me that the repair cost is not included in my warranty agreement but I believe manufacturer has to be responsible for the components use to assemble the vehicle.”
NHTSA complaint #10418285, filed 2011-08, 30,000 miles“Took my Dodge journey 2009 sxt- awd on 09/16/2011 to the dealer because the engine would not crank, they made the repairs. At check-out I was told the vehicle needed 4 new tires. At the time the vehicle had 31,328 miles.”
