“When switching from high beams to low beams I lost my headlights - and this is apparently a very big problem with these vehicles. This is a huge safety problem. I have to quickly switch back and forth many many times to regain my lights. As I understand this is the multi-function switch in the steering column...this is a 2001 Dodge 2500 4x4, quad cab, diesel pickup. I belong to a website for these trucks and it is a common complaint!”

I took it back to the dealership but they said it was out of warranty and to use something with uv protection. At 101,000mi the front speakers went out. Now my dash is missing big pieces. I was driving down the road last month and hit a bump in the road. A piece of dash flew up and hit my wife in the forehead. She will no longer let the grandchildren ride in my truck. She is afraid the air bag will go off or a piece of dash will hit them in the eye. …”
