“Wheel wells are cut to high letting water and road grime into my engine and electric. I have taken my durango back to the dealer every other week since I bought it,for steering,tv screen,valve stems,and once for I don't know, it just sat in back for one and a half hours. This last time it was for knocking in the front end. I have only had the durango for 8 weeks!!!the rack and pinion steering is out.”
NHTSA complaint #10135014, filed 2005-08“I placed a complaint in may 05, 3 months after I purchased my 05 durango because it was making a popping noise when I turn. The dealership has replaced the intermediate shaft, swaybar links, and the rack and pinion and yet I still have a popping noise when I turn. I am now out of my factory warrany and am into my extended warranty. I think that its wrong that I am now having to pay $50 for the dealership to change parts that do not fix the problem that they should have fixed prior to my factory warranty running out.”
