“Component failure: Winntec Model 6020 two stage propane regulator,I have regulator Regulator failed and has been recalled by many major RV manufacturers. Extreme fire hazard if regulator fails to perform and not regulate the amount of pressure coming from the propane tanks. Can result in extreme flames from appliances and cause fire that can endanger lives. Jayco has issued a recall NHTSA#21V-425TC#2021-367, Highland Ridge#21V-430TC#2021-369,StarcraftRV#21V-431TC#2021-368, and probably numerous other manufacturers. …”
NHTSA complaint #11457343, filed 2022-03“The contact owns a 2019 Forest River Cherokee. The contact stated while the RV was attached to a pickup truck, the cooktop range was being used and there was smoke coming from under the range. The contact opened the range door and the flames extinguished independently. The contact forwarded details to the manufacturer of the range, who diagnosed the failure with the front panel module. The oven equipment was not repaired or replaced.”
