“A tire blew out from bead to bead. After looking at all the tires, found that the tires were wearing out on the outside edge. I have always used the max air pressure which is 50 PSI. The tires are carlisle 205-75-15 radial trail crt load range c. Gvw is 7780. The tires carry 1820 lbs each at 50 PSI. The tires combined carry 7280 lbs. This is less than the 7780 lbs and some of it is due to tongue weight I guess. My trailer was not over loaded. I carried a full water tank of 38 gallons and food. Seems to me it should have come with 225-75-15 load range d. …”

NHTSA complaint #10216752, filed 2008-02

The consumer stated axles on unit are too short, clearance between tire and body are less than 1/2 inch on 2 of the 4 tires. The consumer provided pictures of the defect. Updated 09/21/07”
