“After starting the car to leave home, the backup camera would not display. Placing car in reverse, the screen did not change from its MAP/nav display. Several other dash controls were also inoperable. It seems the car did not initialize successfully yet did not display any warnings. Unknown if any ADAS such as cross traffic or blind spot were inactive. Stopping and starting the car a second time resolved the issues. But, with no warnings, what could have happened if a driver did not notice the issue and do a restart ? Too many software bugs.”
