NHTSA complaint #10033436, filed 2003-08, 105,000 miles“While driving vehicle about 45-50 MPH, for no apparent reason the vehicle bucked and jerked then accelerated to a speed of 70+ MPH. Driver ran vehicle into a open bay at gas station to stop. The vehcle has not been repaired . Consumer stated driver side airg did not deploy.”
NHTSA complaint #816029, filed 1997-09“The airbag module had to be replaced at a cost of $400.00. Without this part the airbag could be deployed accidently or not at all in thge event of a crash. This part should be covered longer, just as the emmisions equipment is.”
