“The contact owns a 2006 Gmc Sierra Denali. The contact stated that the check engine light illuminated on the instrument panel while driving approximately 45 MPH. The vehicle was taken to an independent repair shop where the contact was informed that the fuel system needed to be repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was informed that the vehicle was not included in the recall associated with NHTSA campaign id number: 06e043000 (fuel system, gasoline). The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 52,000 and the current mileage was 77,000. …”
