NHTSA complaint #11011932, filed 2017-08, 121,000 miles“The front passenger air bag sensor goes on and off when my wife sits in it. She weights 112 lbs. This has happened since the day we purchased the vehicle new at the dealer. We are very concerned about this and the dealership gave us blanket statements. The dealership has replaced the sensor in the seat, however the same problem persists. The service manager mike witnessed the problem. As mentioned, we are very very concerned.”

Gmc said they would contact me when they had replacement parts, but have not. I told them I did not care if no parts were available or if I had working airbags, but I wanted the dangerous inflators out! They said no.”
