“While driving at approximately 65 MPH on a highway, the locks engaged, the radio shut down, power steering was lost, and the vehicle slowed down/braked on it's own. Thankfully we were able to move to the side of the road without getting hit. The only message on the dash was service stabilitrack. The dealer and an independent mechanic have been unable to replicate the error message.”
NHTSA complaint #11330577, filed 2020-06, 109,300 miles“While driving, the vehicle display screen and lights start turning off and on. The warning lamp says service trailer brake system and the vehicle is unable to accelerate at all. Leaving me at a stand still in the middle of the road. It's a safely hazard because it happens suddenly and without warning and I am unable to move my vehicle so I'm just in the middle of the road. I haven't taken it in to the dealership yet. …”
NHTSA complaint #11563740, filed 2024-01“While driving the vehicle it randomly looses engine function decreasing speed rapidly. The check engine light comes on and it says engine power reduced along with traction-off and stabilitrak- off. There was a safety recall 14V-614 that pertains to the chassis electronic module. I have had multiple shops look at the problem the last being a GMC dealer who replaced the accelerator pedal for the 2nd time but did not fix the issue. This issue began in early 2024 and vehicle has sat in driveway not being driven every since.”
