2018: “Springs going flat or failing. Several reports on gd facebook page. I think it needs to be looked into. Called gd for help but no results. They claim they had problems with dexter axles but not lippert axles. I called lippert and they pretty much said there has been issues but they send gd what they ask for. Consumer stated flat springs were replaced.”
NHTSA complaint #11194273, filed 2019-04, 1,000 miles2020: “Our passenger side rear trailer tire blew out on our 2020 Imagine 2800bh. This was a lionshead westlake that came on the trailer and had about 4k miles on it. Pressure was 80 PSI when we left our site and 88 PSI when it blew according to the TPMS system. Our speed at the time of the failure was 60mph. I'm not sure what caused the tire to fail but it went out with a bang and the tread separated from the tire. The TPMS never indicated loss of air or other issue. I pulled over immediately after I heard the bang but the damage was already done. …”
NHTSA complaint #11374172, filed 2020-11, 4,000 miles2021: “While towing our travel trailer we experienced a tire blowout on the left side rear. The blow out tore up the black water valve and sewage cap dumping sewage on the side of the highway. The lack of protection to the valve is not present and the valve is directly behind the tire. With trailer tire blowouts prevalent this is bound to happen again.”
