2003 Gulf Stream Motorhome Fuel system Problems

“Various problems with Gulf Stream coach model 6280. While driving the engine light illuminated. The vehicle had plenty of oil and coolant and was running smoothly. The consumer then tried a higher grade of gas. The engine light did not come back on, but there was a noise coming from under the hood. The rv was taken to dealer and the mechanic determined that the fuel pump relay was bad. The following week the engine light illuminated again. The vehicle was taken to another dealer and the consumer was told that the problem this time was the 02 sensor. …”

“Partial listing: improperly secured passenger restraints in belted, seated positions; improper tie down of the seat mechanisms in belted seated positions; leaks in the liquid petroleum gas system at time of delivery; installation of cabinet work of sufficient weight to cause serious injury in an overhead area without properly securing it; failure to adequately secure with proper bolts or strapping the fiberglass cap which serves as the exterior covering of the coach's front end above the driver's cab - safety and structural issues have been discovered.
