“Throttle gave out for no apparent reason. Had no response from the throttle. Stopped and removed hand grip and moved the electronic part and replaced hand grip. Throttle was the ok, this has happened on 2 more occasions on august 31st and september 1st, I did the same to fix the problem. Luckily I was not a busy freeway when these incidents occurred or I may have been in danger.”

Last fall I was coming back from a memorial mission with the american legion riders. I noticed a strange rattle in my primary case area. I got home and parked it until I could open it up to see what the issue is. A few weeks later I finally was able to open up the primary case. What I found was 2 large pieces of metal loose in the primary case. This is where the clutch, drive chain, compensator, and stator are. …”
NHTSA complaint #11066699, filed 2018-02, 42,000 miles“Bike went into limp mode causing the bike to suddenly shut down to about 15 MPH. Cause was fretting of throttle body wiring connector pins. Factory has known of problem and has a tcb out on issue. This is very dangerous when riding on highways. Company need to have recall but they won't.”
