2007: “Traveling along rt 89 in new hampshire could hear rumbling noise and when we got to rt 4 in vermont the rear end dropped and started dragging on the road. After checking both rear swing arms snapped at the rear axle. If this had happened while driving 60 - 65 MPH on interstate rt 89 we could have been hurt or killed. After checking with roadmaster, now owned buy navistar, there is a new and improved swing arm kit they are willing to sell you at $1749 plus shipping.”
NHTSA complaint #10476899, filed 2012-09, 23,712 miles2004: “With only 14,000 miles on vehicle the aluminum radiator began leaking where the core is attached to the tank. Manufacture has since replaced aluminum with steel radiators but would not agree to pay for any of the replacement since the warranty time has expired. I have talked to other people with the same type of motor home that are having leaks also. I feel this is a trend and maybe should be investigated for installing faulty radiators in these units. Radiators should last longer than 14,000 miles.”
