“The contact owns a 2025 Honda Civic Hatchback. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed and turning the steering wheel, the steering wheel was making an abnormal groaning sound. The failure was a recurring failure. The dealer was contacted and informed the contact that the steering wheel sound was normal. The manufacturer was not made aware of failure. The failure mileage was approximately 2,000.”

The vehicle was scheduled for the repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V744000 (STEERING); as a possible cause for the failure. The failure mileage was 21,400.”
