2010 Honda Crosstour Visibility (wipers, defrost, mirrors) Problems

“Upon acceleration from a traffic stop, the sunroof shattered causing shards of glass to fall into the vehicle. The sunroof was completely closed at the time. This was not a gentle break and crack , but a violent shatter of glass. One 8 year old passenger seated in the rear middle seat sustained a cut removing glass from his seat.”

The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the windshield protecting film was bubbling and the entire windshield needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The local dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 52,000.”
