“The contact owns a 2008 Honda gold wing. The contact was driving approximately 55 MPH when the taillights and headlights failed independently. The contact stated that the failure recurred intermittently. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the technician was unable to diagnose the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 100.”

The focal point of the lights is to narrow to clearly see frontal images, which increases the risk of a crash and severe injury. The dealer is aware of the failure, but has not developed a remedy. The contact is in the process of notifying the manufacturer. The failure mileage was 100 and current mileage was 20,000. Updated 3/24/09 the consumer stated the headlights can not be raised to satisfactory height. Updated 03/2/709.”

The hazard warning signal only functioned with the key in the ignition switch and on accessory. The seat on the bike was very uncomfortable after riding for an hour. The dealer suggested purchasing an aftermarket seat.”
