“Started the vehicle after refueling at a gas station. When I shifted into drive the engine sped up and surged forward. Since I had my foot on the brake the vehicle didn't move but the force was strong enough to cause squealing and a clunk of the transmission. The tack was racing and then dropped down to normal. All of this occurred without touching the gas pedal. This happened the first time today. I started the car a second time and the engine raced for several seconds before slowing down.”
