Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“Cracks appeared on my headlight lens, some all the way through. Its a condition called crazing. Honda refuses to replace saying that I damaged them, which I haven't. If it rains hard, water can enter causing a short , headlights going out or a short causing a fire.”

NHTSA complaint #11765331, filed 2026-09

“The LED headlights are so dim that when other cars with normal LED headlights pass you on the left or on the right it appears as though the headlights on the 2026 Passport are not even turned on. This constitutes a safety hazard. This is a well known issue with Honda as I discovered when researching the matter online after the vehicle purchase.”

NHTSA complaint #11654960, filed 2025-04
