“The sensors on pull code and note 41-11 no signal from lf impact sensor. Dealer is telling me that I have to replace this because my air bags will not deploy. This is a manufacturer defect. I have never been in a accident where any of my airbags have deployed. Why wasn't my car included in a recall? This could potentially kill me . I drive my kids in this car”

NHTSA complaint #11183634, filed 2019-03, 167,966 miles

“Takata recall: I got a recall notice for the driver's side air bag.. I took car to hyannis Honda, hyannis, ma and got new one installed. The car was hit head-on while driving on a town road. A other car crossed the center line. Both cars were going about 30 MPH ( over 60mph). The other car's airbag worked; air-bag went off. The new air-bag in my car failed to work.”

NHTSA complaint #10983044, filed 2017-05, 208,000 miles

“My airbag light is on. I took my Pilot in for the recall and assumed that would fix the problem. After I picked up my vehicle I noticed that the airbag light is still on. The mechanics failed to notify me of the problem and said this is not related to the recall. This makes no sense to me since my vehicle has never been in an accident.”

NHTSA complaint #10779605, filed 2015-10, 177,000 miles

“I noticed that the airbag sensor light is on. Took it to the dealer and he said it needs to be replaced. $350.00. There are too many documented incidents where the 2005 Honda Pilot is having this problem. Especially when there was no impact. We as consumers need to make this clear to Honda that this is a safety issue that needs to addressed.”

NHTSA complaint #10579446, filed 2014-04, 240,000 miles

“Vsa engaged while driving xway, pulled vehicle to right, into other lane. This was repaired per previous recall, but continued to engage periodically within 3 days. Additionally, I am on list for airbag recall, but not yet recalled in ky. We are in ohio valley, with higher humidity than florida. I have driven to florida multiple times. We should be added to recall list.”
