“The other day I took a ride in my truck and upon driving approximately two blocks from my home the steering control of the car totally failed. Imagine driving your car and at some point, you lose the capability of controlling your cars direction while holding your steering wheel. One can only imagine if I was going 65 miles an hour and driving on a highway then losing the ability to turn your wheels. I am blessed this malfunction happened when I was only traveling 10 miles an hour. …”

The tow mechanic stated that the lower ball joint snapped and caused the failure. The driver and passenger sustained scratches from the crash. A police report was filed. The vehicle was destroyed. The current and failure mileages were 8,000.”
