“On multiple occasions vehicle engine has failed to start with the gear selector in park. The gear selector must be moved to neutral to start the engine or sometimes the gear selector can be moved through other gears and back to park and then the engine will start.”

NHTSA complaint #11022633, filed 2017-09, 80,000 miles

“Driving in passing gear three times my car made a loud thudding noise and with an accompanying jolt, the “impact” feels like you could lose control. This feels like it comes from under the rear such as where the universal joint/drive shaft might be. We’ve taken the car in twice but the dealership is unable to duplicate. No warning of any kind in advance.”
