“Driving at a speed of 65 MPH when another car cut me off I had to brake and hit the guardrail head on, and the airbagsdid not deploy. When I called Hyundai to complain they told me that due to the cost of airbags they put it in a certain place where you have to hit it for the airbag to deploy. The odd fact was that I had a head on collision if I had not had my seatbelt on I would have gone through the windshield.”

All of a sudden the brakes slammed on for approximately 5 seconds, throwing us forward and then the accelerator pushed down bringing us to a speed of approximately 80 MPH. My husband was able to engage the brakes after several tries. We pulled to the side of the road to gather ourselves and have not used cruise control in our travels since this incident. As soon as possible we will be taking the car to an authorized dealer for repairs. …”
