“1. Front drivers headlight is out, second went inside a restaurant at around 3am to get something to eat and door won't open ,dead battery i guess. 3rd while backing up another vehicle also ran into me, when I blew the horn. No horn or sound.”
NHTSA complaint #11750132, filed 2026-07“Blew horn at someone who cut in front of me, and horn sounded rough, then the same driver cut me off again, blew horn, NO horn. Also, headlight burnout issues. Had to replace the driver's headlight 39 weeks ago. Week or two after that, the left side went out, and about a month later, running bulb went out on passenger side. Well, the headlight just blew again, same day as the horn, just had to replace that again - $25 a pop at Auto Zone! I've read there were horn recalls on the '20-'22 models, just not on the '23...WHY!??? …”
NHTSA complaint #11669110, filed 2025-06“The original horn failed after about a year and 15,000 miles. Replaced with dealer and new horn failed after about 6 months and 7,000 miles. Only realized after having to avoid a collision and being unable to use my horn. Having a faulty horn could be a factor in a collision, if a vehicle starts to merge into me without me having a way to avoid the collision other than alerting the other driver. The dealership replaced the first horn which was under warranty. No lights or indicators that this system had failed.”
NHTSA complaint #11627456, filed 2024-11“I was going to work, dropping my one year old off at his grandparents on the way. My purse (with my spare key) along with the rest of my belongings were dumped into the front passenger seat after I unlocked my car. Unfortunately, I also placed my main set in the seat in order to buckle up the kiddo. I was wearing a dress with no pockets. I shut my front passenger door, opened the rear passenger door and finished up the car seat wrangle. I then shut his door, and every door on the vehicle clicked shut in the auto locking mechanism. My adrenaline and panic were instantaneous. …”
NHTSA complaint #11529967, filed 2023-07“Owner brand new since may 2023. Few months later, beginning 2024 one day notice when need to use that horn went off by it own, when to the dealership to service, after wait for about 3-4 week they replaced,. All good until 5-7 months later around October 2024 once again NOT HORN AGAIN!!. …”
