“On saturday, may 30, 2015, I experienced three anomalies with my FX35, during two cycles (engine off). The weather was fair, with partly cloudy skies and a temperatures in the high seventies. At about 10am, when the vehicle was started in the garage, it had an unusually high RPM which I noticed as it was shifted into drive so I could pull out. I always back my vehicle into the garage, so it lunged forward with a strong jerk. Although I thought this was odd, I headed to costco in sterling va and had no further problems for the time being. …”

NHTSA complaint #10724646, filed 2015-06, 85,000 miles

“Both sun visors have mirrors with light when cover is opened. The driver side lamp for the sun visor stopped working. It created a short inside the sun visor possible from the option of being able to extend the sun visor arm back and forth to block sun from the side. The wires inside may have wore out or somehow got connected. This created a short in the system and fuse under room lamp which controls interior lamps, driver seat and some other lighting blow out. Complete driver side sunvisor needs to be replaced to stop short in the system.”

NHTSA complaint #10664827, filed 2014-12, 51,000 miles

“My vehicle gas fuel door opens electronically/automatically. Once motor is turned off, then you can push the door open and proceed to unscrew the gas cap and fuel the car. I recently found out that this simple process malfunctioned and I had to pay Infiniti to unlock the door, so I can fuel my car! …”
