2012: “Power steering pump and passenger airbag malfunction. Many Infiniti owner have or have had the same issue. I think customers don't have to pay for any repairs if there is a big demand on these problems. These two problems happen when my family and I were driving on the highway. I don't understand why this problem hasn't been called as a recall.”

2009: “I have a 2009 Infiniti g37x with 36000 miles, bought new in july 2009. Just recently the air bag light started flashing. I took it to the Infiniti dealer and was told it was the passenger air bag sensor in the front passenger seat that was bad, and would cost $6000.00 to fix. I see this seems to be a problem with many others, but don't see a recall yet?”

2011: “The air bag sensor light on the dash has illuminated. This means that the switch in the seat does not detect an occupant so the air bag will no deploy in a crash. Infinit of memphis wants to charge $8000 to replace the seat! This is a safety hazard and should be a recall issue. I see many complaints on this website about the exact same issue. How do we initiate a manufacturer recall?”
