“I was told about a recall on this vehicle due to frame body strut housing corrosion, I'm hearing a clicking sound as I proceed to make turns now. I took it in to be looked at to see if noise I was hearing could be repaired, upon the mechanic placing the vehicle on the lift he noticed the corrosion on front end of the strut housing.”
NHTSA complaint #10808692, filed 2015-12, 174,185 miles“The vehicle is completely rusting underneath and running boards. I was told by Infiniti customer affairs that the recalls had closed for rusted out struts. This impacts driving and can become a safety concern if the struts completely rust away. I'm concerned for my safety or the safety of my family if this failure occurs. The dealerships will not honor a recall that is no longer valid or closed. This is a potential life safety issue.”
